mr.mrs.claus.jpgBoulder City, Nevada.  Due to last year’s incredible demand, the Nevada State Railroad Museum in Boulder City will once again sell advanced tickets to its annual Santa Train event.  Tickets are on sale now through December 4 while supplies last.  The Santa Train will run December 5 and 6 as well as December 12 and 13.  Train runs are at the top of each hour from 10 AM to 3 PM each day.

“By purchasing tickets in advance, riders can choose both the day and time they want to ride the Santa Train,” said Greg Corbin, Museum Director.  “Advanced ticket holders can avoid waiting in lines to purchase tickets and will be able to ride at the time of their choosing.”

Tickets for the Santa Train are $2 per seat, payable by cash or check only. Tickets can be purchased in advance Thursday and Friday from 8 AM to 3 PM at the Museum Office (601 Yucca Street) and Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM at the Depot Ticket Office (600 Yucca Street).  The Nevada State Railroad Museum, Boulder City, is located at 600 Yucca Street.  For more information call 702-486-5006 or visit www.NevadaCulture.org.

“We will still be selling tickets for the Santa Train on the event dates, so those who don’t buy advanced tickets can still ride,” said Corbin.  “Half of the tickets available are being offered for advanced sales and half will be sold during the event on a first-come first-served basis.”

Santa Train rides depart at the top of each hour from the Nevada State Railroad Museum Depot located at the intersection of Nevada Highway and Yucca Street in Boulder City. Due to the popularity of the event, visitors are encouraged to arrive at least 30 minutes early.

The Santa Train has been an annual holiday event at the museum and would not be possible if not for the invaluable assistance from the Nevada State Railroad Museum's volunteers.  The event is also sponsored in part by Rustic Living, the Railroad Pass Hotel and Casino, and The Boulder Dam Credit Union.
